Stay stay and healthy my friends!
Happy May everyone! I have exciting news to share with you if you haven't already heard - Ms. Miller had her baby! They are safe and healthy at home! So, for this phase we are going to do a very serious project. Please read on ONLY if you have completed all of your PHASE III work from https://sites.google.com/franklinboe.org/ftpsremotelearningplans/home .
YOU are going to be the costume designers! Imagine Ms. Miller's baby had her very first dance show and YOU got to design her costume!
Options:
Once you open the link above, go to "FILE" at the top left of the screen, then click "MAKE A COPY". From there, you should be able to save your own copy of the template if you would like to complete this electronically (see below).
You can also print this out and color/decorate it (which I recommend to show your style!). Click "FILE" at the top left of the screen, then click "PRINT".
If you do not need the template, you are welcome to draw your own costume without printing!
Please put your name, grade, and homeroom teacher on the sheet. Once you are done, please either share the electronic document with me, or take a picture of your costume and email it! (Email is hleuthhamilton@franklinboe.org). At the end of this phase, I will be sending Ms. Miller all of your beautiful creations! You are welcome to draw any other pictures or write a letter for her if you'd like. I'm sure she would love to her from you all and misses you very much!
Hi everyone, I miss you all very much! Please visit Franklin Township's website (see at the bottom of this page for the link) to complete your work for Phase II in the packet given before moving onto our additional optional activities below!
We're going to begin our choreography unit, using the weather to help us out!
This week we will be relating our information to snowy weather! We didn't have a lot of snow this winter, so let's pretend that we did and build a snowman! This part of our lesson will help us learn about spatial relationships in choreography.
Please follow the link below (according to your grade level) and complete the worksheet to learn more about space in dance!
Pick an object (a shoe, a stuffed animal, a blanket, anything!)
Can you dance:
• Above the object
• Below the object
• In front of the object
• Behind the object
• Next to the object
• In the object
3. What was the hardest way to dance with your object? The easiest way?
