Goals
Goals
- During class time, it is expected that you remain in the Google Meet meeting until you are dismissed (barring connection issues, we know those WILL happen). No other tabs are to be open on your computer when you are in “music class”
- Google Meets chat is reserved for questions related to the topic of the day
- If our meeting ever gets cut off, check for instructions in the Google Classroom Stream, we will give instructions from there so that we can continue as best we can
Class Materials

- Instrument- you must have an instrument to participate in band class. Clarinets/ Saxophones/ Oboes/ Bassoons must have reeds. Stay tuned for the instrument distribution process! We will hopefully haven't have instruments soon. Please be patient!
- Computer- Google Classroom, Quaver
- Cleaning/ Maintenance Supplies- cleaning cloth, cork grease, valve oil, slide grease (Band and String ONLY)

In order to play well and meet our class goals, you will need a space for your computer (near a plug and connected to internet), a chair and music stand (ONLY if you have one in your home). Sitting on your bed is not conducive to proper sitting posture for playing your instrument!
