To ensure a fair and respectful atmosphere, we highlight two key principles:
1. Intellectual Integrity
Discussions at the workshop may involve ongoing research, new ideas, and preliminary results. Participants must respect the intellectual contributions of others and refrain from misusing or appropriating ideas without proper acknowledgment or collaboration. This is especially important for junior researchers who may feel more vulnerable in such settings.
2. Respectful Communication
We encourage passionate scientific debates, but all interactions must remain professional and respectful. Heated discussions should never lead to inappropriate language, personal attacks, or hostile behaviour. We encourage the participants to have self-awareness of their possible effect on other participants. Different conversation dynamics can be intimidating to different people depending on their position and experience. Every participant is responsible for maintaining a constructive and collegial atmosphere.
In addition to these principles, our workshop follows the Lorentz Center Code of Conduct, which provides further guidance on ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees.
