We, as the app provider, are not accountable for the content uploaded by the end users of the mobile application.

The Sharing of Your Information section contains comprehensive information on how your data may be shared. Please bear in mind that any third parties involved in processing a user's data are considered service providers. They only utilize the information to fulfill the purposes specified in the agreement and solely for business-related reasons.

REQUESTS

To make a verifiable consumer request for accessing, transferring, or deleting personal data, please reach out to us using the contact details provided at the end of this Policy. When making your request, please ensure that you include the phrase "Your rights to maintain confidentiality in the state of California". When submitting your request, you should be prepared to provide information that enables us to reasonably verify your identity as the person for whom personal information was collected. This may include your name, address, city, state, zip code, and email address. We may also use this information to ask you a series of security questions.

If you are making the request through an authorized agent, they must provide written authorization or a power of attorney signed by you. Furthermore, please provide a detailed description of your request to ensure that we can properly understand, evaluate, and address it.

If we are unable to verify your identity or the authority of the requester, or if we cannot confirm that the personal information pertains to you, we will be unable to fulfill your request or provide personal information. It usually takes us 45 days to reply after receiving a legitimate user request. Please wait patiently, and bear in mind that we are eligible to fulfill only one request per customer in a 12-month period.

II. Log Files and User Data We Collect About You

The "Measuring Tape: Digital Ruler" follows the standard practice of utilizing log files, which are commonly used by hosting companies to collect certain information when users visit websites. Additionally, when you use the app, your email address may also be collected if you log in with Apple, Google, or Facebook. As a result, you may receive periodic newsletters containing information about gardening, important app updates, and related topics. You can opt out of these emails at any time using the provided unsubscribe link. • If you uninstall the App but do not delete your account, your associated information will be stored temporarily. For more details, refer to the "Use of Your Data" Section in the Privacy Policy. If you choose to delete your account, all relevant saved information will be permanently erased and inaccessible. Logging out of the account also deletes your history from the device, but you can retrieve it by logging back in.

• Other Identity data includes personal identification details such as email address, birth date, usernames, names, surnames, and phone number.

• Usage of the App requires access to the device's camera and photos, which allows scanning visual content provided by user. However, we do not store or use media files provided by user without his/her consent. The main object identification tool used in the app is powered by AI, which means that we do not store your media files on our servers and/or cloud systems.

III. Automatically Processed Information

With your consent, our App may utilize third-party automated data processing technologies, such as advertising or analytics tools, to analyze specific data sent by your device. This processing begins automatically once you allow our App to track your activities. You have the option to withdraw your consent at any time by referring to the opt-out choices in the "Opt-out of Marketing Tracking" section.

We may process certain data about your device and user activity based on our legitimate interests. This data is typically non-personal and cannot be directly linked to any specific individual. We only access it in an aggregated form. Our purpose in utilizing this information is to enhance our App and provide users with the best possible experience.

When you use our mobile app on a device like a tablet, phone, or smartwatch, certain information about the device is provided, including "device identifiers." These identifiers are small data files or structures that uniquely identify the device without revealing personal information. This allows for general reporting or personalized content and ads from third parties.

The data that can be processed includes details about the device, such as its type, operating system, version, model, manufacturer, screen size, density, orientation, audio volume, battery, and memory usage. Information about the internet connection, such as mobile carrier, network provider, network type, IP address, session duration, speed, and browser, can also be processed.

Additionally, our app may undergo automated processing and analysis, including the reporting of its name, API key (application identifier), version, and properties. Some services may record the list of applications and/or processes installed or running on your device.

Cookies (pixels, scripts etc.) may also be collected when you use the App, which helps to improve the performance of the mobile application.

Information about the ads you view may be gathered and reported, including the date and time the ad was displayed, whether it was clicked on or resulted in a conversion, the content of the ad offer, the type of ad (text, image, or video), where the ad was placed within the app, and whether you interacted with the ad.

Furthermore, while using our app, analytic tools may track various events such as taps, scrolls, screens visited, tutorial progress, level advancements, payments, in-app purchases, custom events, progression events, and methods employed to limit the processing of user data.

We cannot be held responsible for the processing of information automatically provided to advertising or analytics tools as we have no control over it. It's important to note that some services may create personal data profiles and access your identity or device using technologies beyond our control. We have no authority over and cannot guarantee how third parties handle your personal data collected through their own methods, unrelated to our app. If you need information regarding the disclosure of your personal data, please contact the relevant third parties (refer to the Section V).

However, we may share information such as log files, device identifiers, and location data with third-party organizations that provide automatic data processing technologies for the App. We do not have control over these third parties' tracking technologies or how they are utilized.

Please be aware that we do not use, publish, or sell any media content supplied by end users for scanning and object (s) identification purposes. All materials provided by end users are solely used to enhance the stability and functionality of the mobile application algorithm and for object recognition purposes. All user media content is not stored on our servers and/or cloud storage systems, but is processed by the Artificial Intelligence tools and is solely used to train the network operating on the mobile app.

VII. Payment Information

Our selected e-commerce providers handle the billing, processing, and charging for in-app purchases. They are responsible for safeguarding and ensuring the security of your personal information. This information is processed in accordance with the contract between you and us. We do not have access to or use your credit or debit card details.

Please be aware that we are not accountable for managing subscription payments purchased in the App. Any payment-related concerns should be directed to App Store Support, as they exclusively handle such matters.

However, it is important to note that despite our comprehensive efforts, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. In the unfortunate event that a security breach compromises your personal information, we will promptly notify you as required by applicable laws.

If you choose to sign in our app using Apple, Google, or Facebook, the email address associated with your respective account may be used to send you newsletters. These communications could include special subscription offers, updates on new features, and other relevant information about the app. You have the option to provide your email address in the app settings or through a separate popup window to receive newsletters. If you sign in with Apple, you can choose to keep your personal email address private by opting for the "Hide my email" feature, which generates a random email address that forwards to your personal inbox. You can unsubscribe from receiving emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in each message. We will honor your request within a reasonable timeframe.

XI. Protection of Children

We prioritize the protection of children while they are using the internet. We strongly encourage parents and guardians to oversee, participate in, and/or monitor their children's online activities, providing guidance when necessary.
