Meet The Crew

Hey, I’m Summer Hanson, the primary owner of our farm. I am an active participant in 4-H and have experience showing horses, beef cattle, and meat goats. I also compete in barrel racing through CCHPC and previously took part in their play-day shows. Outside of livestock and equestrian activities, I am currently learning how to do photography as a side job. I also have past experience playing softball with the Fremont Lady Hawks and Fremont High School, swim team for Fremont High School and SkillsUSA Chapter. I earned a welding certificate through Metropolitan Community College and had the opportunity to attend the 2025 and 2026 SkillsUSA State Leadership & Skills Conference for welding. These experiences have strengthened my work ethic, technical skills, and dedication to the agricultural and livestock community.

Hi, I’m Desmond Lockhart, the secondary owner and maintenance lead on our family farm. Along with helping manage daily operations, I was a dedicated student-athlete at Fremont High School, where I competed in football, swim team, and track. My involvement in Future Builders of America has strengthened my hands-on experience in construction. I am currently enrolled in the Metropolitan Community College construction program, working toward my certificate of completion. Outside of athletics and construction, I also have a background in middle school band. Altogether, these diverse experiences allow me to bring passion, responsibility, and practical knowledge to the continued growth and success of our farm.
