SINGING AUDITIONS:
Everyone will be asked to sing measures 10 - 41 from the song Seize the Day.
ACTING AUDITIONS:
You will be asked to choose one of the following role categories for your audition:
Lots of lines, dancing, and singing and I am comfortable signing a song by myself.
Some lines and I am comfortable singing and dancing in a group.
Only a dancing part with minimal singing and a few lines.
Only a speaking part with minimal to no singing and dancing.

Section 1 (2:55-4:29): Everyone will audition with this section.
If you would like to challenge yourself and/or you are a dancer you can continue to learn section 2, section 3, and section 4.

We will not use newspapers in the audition.

SEITZ, the editor of the World, advises Pulitzer but ultimately admires the kids’ newspaper.
Audition Dances for Callbacks - optional
There is a beginner/intermediate and intermediate/advanced tap routine for you to do to show us your tap chops! You are welcome to bring tap shoes to show us the dance on the Friday of the auditions. Please take a look at the two videos below to practice.
