Weaving

This presentation demonstrates the circle loom technique used by the 4th grade students.

The Dot

"Make your mark and see where it takes you." -Peter Reynolds

Starting with just a dot....students started the year creating these colorful dots using concentric circles and oil pastels.

Using a warm/cool color scheme, geometric shapes and their hand outlines, students designed these popping artworks.

Watercolor & Wax resist was our medium of choice for these paintings. Students learned about contour lines when drawing their tropical fish.

We'll be celebrating National Scribble Day on March 27th!

Students listened to Diane Alber's "I'm not Just a Scribble" and created their own unique scribble characters.
