Course Objectives: This 7th grade year-long course is designed to develop appreciation of another culture through its language. The goal is to establish a foundation for student ease with the language, whether speaking, listening, reading, or writing. Class participation is required. Students are expected to spend 15-20 minutes per night learning vocabulary and reviewing new material. This course is a required prerequisite for Spanish B, which is a year-long course offered in 8th grade for high school Spanish 1 credit.
