Architect Fees

The Architectural Design fees shall depend on the following aspects:

Type of Project - Residence, Apartment, Commercial, Industrial, School, Hospital, Kalyana Mandapam, etc.,

Scale of Project - Small (less than 3501 sft), Medium (3501 sft to 20,000 sft), Large (more than 20,000 sft)

Scope of Works - Conceptual floor plans, 3d visualizations, Architectural Detail drawings, Coordination with Structural Er., Site Visit, etc.,

The Architectural Design Fees* for the current year 2024-2025, can be considered as follows:

Residences - Rs. 140 / sft (Min. chargable area 2,000 sft)

Apartments - Rs. 80 / sft (Min. chargable area 12,000 sft)

Commercial Complex - Rs. 65 / sft (Min. chargable area 10,000 sft)

Industrial Buildings - Rs. 40 / sft (Min. chargable area 20,000 sft)

Schools - Rs. 65 / sft (Min. chargable area 10,000 sft)

Hospitals - Rs. 100 / sft (Min. chargable area 12,000 sft)

Kalyana Mandapams - Rs. 100 / sft (Min. chargable area 12,000 sft)

Interior Design - 10% of Project Value (including Labour & Materials)

*Add GST @ 18% on Invoice value

Scope of Works: 

The following Services shall be rendered in the above Cost:

1. Conceptual floor plans

2. 3d Visualizations for all sides

3. Architectural Detail drawings

4. Joinery Details (Doors / Windows / MS Grill works / Handrails)

5. Plumbing details (Layout of Toilets, Kitchen, Utility, etc.,) 

6. Electrical Layouts (Position of Switches & Appliances)

7. Tiling layouts (General flooring, Toilets Floor & Walls, Etc.,)

8. Coordination with Structural Engineer 

Other Charges: 

The following Charges shall be applicable if necessary:

1. Site Visit (Madurai) - Rs. 5,000 per visit 

2. Site Visit (Outside Madurai) - Rs. 8,000 per visit + Travel Expenses 

Exclusions: 

The following Services are not rendered and are not included in the above Cost:

1. Structural / Electrical / Landscape / Air-conditioning Design / Etc.,

2. Appointment of Contractors / Vendors

3. Preparation of Bill of Quantities (B.O.Q.)

4. Bill checking & Certification (Supplier & Contractor Bills)

5. Liaising works (Building Plan Approval, Lift licensing, Fire clearance, etc.,)

6. Purchase coordination (Quantity Estimation, Quotation checking, Negotiation, Delivery handling, etc.,)

7. Drawings Printout (All Drawings shall be issued in Soft copy - CAD / PDF)
