[VIDEO] A thirty-second video of an act of kindness. This doesn’t have to be kindness to a stranger, it can be kindness to anyone, but it does have to be unexpected for the recipient. You must follow appropriate safety protocols.

[IMAGES] (SIDE-BY-SIDE) Your loved ones have merit. There are so many things that are great about them! Create a merit badge for at least one person in your life showcasing a quality about them that you really love, and then present it to them (over Zoom is fine). Submit the close-up of the badge and the image of your friend receiving it, with a footnote describing what it signifies, if it is not obvious.

[IMAGE] You have Merit, too! There are so many things you know how to do, and do well — as well as many things that you are just good at naturally, like being a good friend. Create a sash and decorate it with two or more merit badges identifying all the things about yourself that you are proud of. If the badges don't make it clear, make sure to list their meaning in a footnote at the bottom of the image.
[VIDEO] Halloween is just around the corner, and COVID concerns are likely to interfere. Design a physically-distanced trick-or-treater candy delivery system. You must demonstrate that it can deliver candy into the bags of a trick-or-treater from an impressive distance. You may not use a drone to complete this item.
[IMAGE] They say you shouldn't bury your feelings, but in this case, we'll make an exception. Bury your anger or frustration and give it a proper funeral.

[VIDEO] While so many of us are stuck at home, we might as well use our newfound time at home to work on ourselves and develop new skills to keep us marketable in an uncertain economy. With this in mind, learn to balance something on your chin for 20 seconds -- a yardstick, a broom, a piece of a towel rack... or even something longer. Impress us! (Hint: Longer things are usually easier to balance. Don't break any windows.)

[IMAGE] Using Photoshop (or other digital altering software), seamlessly modify a well-known oil painting by adding in an anachronistic element. For example, if it were a Monet, you might put one of the ladies under a parasol holding an ipad. Try to make it look like a part of the original composition; we should not be able to tell it was added in later.
