Initial Strings and Junior Strings will be performing Todd Parish's icy Boleas alongside the Kpop Demon Hunter hit, "Golden". Youth Orchestra, conducted by Dr Laurie Rominger, will be performing Mozart's Symphony No. 40 alongside music by Gipps and Hensel. Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for those who have lost someone close to them. You are invited to a quiet service of music and reflection and an opportunity to remember lost loved ones in a safe space. Tea and coffee will be served after service.
Primary 1 pupils from Mile End Primary School will be visiting us to perform a selection of Christmas carols and songs. Everyone is welcome to share a lovely afternoon with us. Tea/coffee and mince pies will be served.

Everybody loves to sing carols around Christmas time. It doesn't matter whether you are a regular church goer, or occasional, or you just love to sing carols. Community Christmas Carol Singing in the Church Gardens with members of The Granite City Brass Band. Mince pies and festive refreshments will be served. So come and join us.

In 2016, Warren Mailley-Smith became the first British pianist to perform all of Chopin’s solo piano works from memory in an 11-concert series at St John’s Smith Square—an achievement praised by critics as extraordinary. He has performed at prestigious venues including Wigmore Hall and Carnegie Hall, and has given numerous performances for the British Royal Family. One of the UK’s most in-demand pianists, he gave over 200 concerts last year alone.
