How to Ring Catering Orders into Toast POS

When ringing in a Shake Break, first log in as Blend Event ADMIN using employee login 9999 on the POS. 

Follow the instructions above to add service charges and tips as applicable.

Notes:

• ONLY Shake Breaks should be rung in under 9999 to prevent mistakes in tip pool calculations. 

• Team members who work at the event must clock in under the zBlend Event job code before they leave for the event. If they work a regular shift before the event, they must clock out and then clock back in under the zBlend Event job code.

• Once the team returns from the blend event and everything is put away, they must clock out of the zBlend Event job code. If they are scheduled to work a regular shift after, they must clock out of the zBlend Event job code and clock back in under their primary job code.

• The 'z' in zBlend Event is simply there to make the job code last when someone with this code is clocking in to avoid accidental punches as a Blend Event employee.
