Bringing the Easter Story to Life at Foundations Academy of Clarksville

At Foundations Academy of Clarksville, learning is more than just books and lessons—it's an experience! Our certified teachers use creative, hands-on learning materials to make Bible stories come alive for young minds. Around Easter, students dive into the story of Jesus through fun and meaningful activities like felt storyboards, toy models, and resurrection eggs. These interactive tools help children understand and remember the true message of Easter in a way that speaks to their hearts and imaginations.

With our small class sizes, each child receives personalized attention and the chance to engage deeply with their learning. Our faith-based teaching approach weaves biblical truths into daily lessons, encouraging not only academic growth but spiritual development as well. Students also benefit from rich social interaction, building friendships and learning to work together in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.

Resurrection eggs have made this study especially powerful for our students. Twelve eggs each hold a symbol of the Easter story. Students experience the story over and over again to reveal the symbols within each egg. Listening to the way they connect with the story of Jesus's death and resurrection is incredible! Students ages 3-5 are developing story retelling skills. Felt storyboards and toy models make play-based learning and retention appropriate for this age group. We love seeing students tell and retell the story of Jesus with this felt storyboard set and this fun toy model.

At Foundations Academy, we believe in laying a strong foundation—educationally, socially, and spiritually—starting with the stories that matter most.
