Hiding God’s Word in Little Hearts

At Foundations Academy of Clarksville, our preschool program is designed to help children become truly prepared for kindergarten while growing in faith and confidence. As a Christian school in Clarksville, we believe early learning should nurture the whole child spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.

Students ages three to five learn a new Bible verse each week and practice committing it to memory. Through hands-on activities, music, movement, and meaningful discussion, children begin to hide God’s Word in their hearts while strengthening language development and comprehension skills. These moments of Scripture learning help guide character development and everyday decision-making.

Our classrooms emphasize play-based learning that supports early reading, letters, counting, and foundational academics. Children work together through structured play, building teamwork and strong social skills that are essential for school readiness. With small class sizes, students receive individualized attention from certified teachers and qualified educators who specialize in early-childhood education.

Daily learning also includes outdoor play, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and healthy development. We value family involvement and believe strong partnerships between home and school help children thrive. Through ongoing community engagement, our preschool families grow together in faith and connection.

At Foundations Academy of Clarksville, our goal is to provide a loving, faith-filled environment where children are confident learners, rooted in truth, and fully prepared for their next step into kindergarten.

We love these felt board pictures. Students retell familiar Bible stories that reinforce their learning. Looking for Bible verses for your preschoolers?
