🎭 A Marvelous “M” Masquerade at Our Faith-Based Preschool in Clarksville
This week at our faith-based preschool in Clarksville, our students celebrated the letter M with a hands-on, play-filled learning experience that supports strong school readiness. As part of our early-childhood education program, we love creating activities that help children build confidence in letters, counting, reading, teamwork, and social skills...all while having fun!
To bring the excitement of the letter M to life, our children designed their very own masquerade masks. With play-based learning at the heart of our approach, the students explored colors, textures, and patterns as they decorated their masks using glitter, feathers, stickers, and markers. Our certified teachers and qualified educators offered individualized attention and guidance, ensuring every child felt proud of their creation. Thanks to our small class sizes, each student had plenty of space and support to express their creativity.
Once the masks were complete, we gathered for a joyful Masquerade Dance Party! The children danced, marched, and moved to the music, celebrating not just the letter M but also the joy of learning together. Activities like this help children grow more prepared for kindergarten by strengthening communication, cooperation, and self-expression.
At our Clarksville Christian preschool, we believe learning should be meaningful, memorable, and full of heart. This magical M celebration is just one of the many ways we blend creativity, play-based learning, and faith-filled values to support each child’s growth.
We can’t wait to see what the next letter brings!
These alphabet resources also help reinforce students' learning. We love this Alphabet Learning Box from Lakeshore Learning. It's a great way to reinforce phonemic awareness and phoneme-grapheme correspondence. These printable masks are perfect if you'd like to host a masquerade in your own classroom! Just print, have students color, and party!
