Growing in Faith: Daily Prayer in Our Preschool

At Foundations Academy of Clarksville, growing closer to God is a meaningful part of each day. From the very beginning of their early-childhood education journey, our students practice daily prayer—learning to speak to God with both confidence and reverence.

Our qualified educators and certified teachers gently guide children to ask God for what they or others need, and to thank Him for the blessings He provides. Whether it's before meals and snacks, during Bible Story Time, or as part of our classroom routine, prayer becomes a natural and comforting part of each child's day. As the year progresses, students grow in faith and understanding. Eventually, students practice taking turns as volunteers to lead our daily prayer time.

In our play-based learning environment, we know that spiritual growth goes hand-in-hand with language development, social skills, and school readiness. Through prayer, reading Scripture, and practicing teamwork, children build a strong foundation in both faith and academics. Combined with hands-on experiences like learning letters, counting, outdoor play, and more, our Christ-centered approach nurtures the whole child.

With small class sizes and a commitment to individualized attention, we also prioritize strong family involvement and community engagement. We're grateful to partner with families as we help every child grow in wisdom, love, and joy.
