This chick community means a lot to the 2nd grade community at Woodfill Elementary. The chick community is where the 2nd grade hatch chicks and we donate them to people who want to raise chickens, like farmers or Fort Thomas residents. 

We started learning about how chicks hatch in March of 2024. We got the chicken eggs April 9, 2024 and they are in the incubators and we are waiting for them to hatch.

Every day we check the temperature for warmth and the water to make sure it is 99.5 degrees and the water level is 45 or higher.
