Southside Orchestra

Recognized as a premiere high school orchestra in the state, Southside Orchestras continually earn the highest ratings at Arkansas Orchestra Region Assessment and State Assessments.

Our orchestra is made up of 4 orchestras:

Maverick Philharmonic - Auditioned top level competive group

Southside Orchestra - Non-auditioned 10th-12th graders

Southside Concert Orchestra - Non-auditioned ALL 9th graders

Maverick Chamber Orchestra - Volunteer group with outreach into the community and for our school.  Chamber meets before school on Fridays and during RTI 1 day per week.

 Every day is a great day to be a MAV!!!
