Tryouts clinics will be March 1-3 @3:30pm in the Darby Storm Shelter
Tryout Day will be March 4th @5:00pm in the Darby Basketball Gym
In order to tryout, the student and their guardian (only one per child), must attend the parent meeting offered. There will be an in person meeting at the Darby Gym February 15th at 5:30pm for the current 6th & 7th graders. A virtual option will be available upon email request.

Does it cost to be on the team?
Yes, there is a parent and camp fee. This money is made through payments and fundraising! We will go more into detail about this at the parent meeting.
When will I know if I made the team?
You will know the night you tryouts.
What if I am quarantined during tryouts?
This will be a case by case basis, but we do have a plan in place that we will go more into detail at the parent meetings.
When does practice start?
It depends for each team, the coach will let you know ASAP when your first practice is.
What will be covered at the parent meeting?
Everything you and your students will need to know about tryouts and being on the team. This is also a time for you to ask questions.
Are parents allowed at the clinics and tryouts?
No, all tryouts and clinics will be closed to all visitors.
How do you pick who is on the team?
There are three judges that judge on techniques and the performance, how the team is picked is based off scores from the judges and the citizenship sheet the teachers fill out.
