Therapy Services

THERAPY SUPPORTS ARE BASED ON YOUR CHILD'S NEEDS & WRITTEN IN THEIR IEP

Many of our students receive therapies throughout their day as outlined in their IEP. All therapists are available to consult with the Early Childhood teacher to provide ideas that might help your child be successful in their classroom.

• Speech Therapy is generally provided in the classroom to help your child communicate where it is most functional for him/her. Often your child may be pulled out of the classroom and seen individually for more specific work on sounds or language skills. This is determined during the IEP meeting.

• Occupational and Physical Therapy is often provided in the classroom or in the therapy room to best meet your child’s needs. This is determined during the IEP meeting.
