Flourishing First Steps 

Flourishing First Steps is a program provided by the School District of Fort Atkinson that will help our littlest learners thrive!  These FREE enrichment sessions are geared towards children from birth to 4 years old. 

With the guidance of the School District of Fort Atkinson Early Childhood staff, these free enrichment sessions will be offered to children from birth through four years of age. 

These enrichment sessions will offer parents/caregivers and their children the opportunity to learn a multitude of things through peer interaction, free play, sensory/art activities, and literacy.  Children will have the opportunity to strengthen their skills through exploration, discovery, and creative experiences. 

Parents/Caregivers will have the opportunity to not only learn new and exciting ways to interact with their child/children during these sessions but will be able to ask questions to our early childhood staff about developmental milestones. 

Families enrolled in the Flourishing First Steps program will receive Little Learner Bags which include activities and resources so families can carry over the learning at home. 

Flourishing First Steps offers developmentally appropriate activities for children ages birth to four.

Each session will be three weeks long and will continue throughout the school year.  Each new session will be available for registration the last week of the previous session. 

Parents/Caregivers will stay with their child/children for the duration of each session.

Session 1 - Exploring Shapes and Colors

(registration opens September 19)

Session 2 - Our Community 

(registration opens October 10)

Session 3: Jingle Bells

(registration opens October 29) 

To better serve our families, we will combine our Itty Bitty and Mini Pre-k curriculum. This way we will be able to offer three times families can sign up their child/children of any age. We will have age-appropriate activities for children birth to 4 years old during each section.
