About Lisa Castillo

This will be my 23rd year teaching in the Fort Osage District.  I am a Fort grad and I am proud to have spent my entire teaching career here.  

I am married and have 3 (bonus) children that attend or attended the Fort Osage District. This year my kids are a sophomore at CMU, a freshman at William Jewell, and 10th grade. My husband is the JV Girls Basketball coach at the high school, also track and field for OTMS.  Mr. Castillo is currently the ISS teacher at OTMS. 

I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and watching netflix.  We love to spend as much time as we can in the water during the summer.  

Some of my favorites are: Mexican food (especially tacos and chips and salsa), Pizza, chocolate, and Diet Dr. Pepper.  I believe in treating everyone with love, kindness, and respect.

Dislikes: onions, tomatoes, most fruits/vegetables and people that are unkind to others.
