I plan is to keep the grade book updated weekly.
Google classroom will utilized & updated daily
Emails & messages in classroom from students and parents will be answered as quickly as possible.
Parents will be contacted as needed.
Attendance
Attendance will be taken daily. There will be a "Daily Question" form in google classroom that you will answer in order to verify that you are here on your scheduled "in-person" day and that you are checking classroom for any posts in the stream and for the daily assignment(s) on your virtual day.
This allows for consistency from both you & me, but also allows me to assume that you are checking due dates, assignments & new information.
If are absent for an extended period of time for any reason and you want/need to have a google meet, just let me know and we can schedule it.
Assignment Expectations
Be responsible for your own learning.
All assignments will have a specific due date.
Log into Google Classroom everyday for “Daily Check In” assignment as well as the assignment for the day
This MUST be done by 11:59 pm everyday.
If we go completely virtual - you will be expected to log in everyday.
Respect the teacher, other students, and yourself.
Grading policy
Grades are determined by total points.
Although you have a specific due date for assignments, you will have a hard deadline for missing assignments of the day before the test by 11:59 pm. All missing assignments must be turned in by 11:59 pm the night before the DCA. After that time, those missing assignments will not be accepted/graded and will become 0's in the grade book.
DCA's will always be given in person. You will not be expected or allowed to take the test on your virtual day.
If you are absent the day of the test, you will be expected to take it during class the next in person day you are there.
VIRTUAL STUDENTS
Attendance
You will also be expected to do the "Daily Question" every day.
I will be on google meet during our class period daily if you need/want to check in for any reason.
Assignment Expectations
You will be expected to watch/listen to all notes or other recordings. Most of your notes will be recorded. If there is a project or assignment that I feel needs more explanation for you, then there will be a recording for that.
On Monday, you will get a slide show rundown of what's going on that week & what is expected of you.
You will be given ALL the assignments for the week at on Monday. They are all due by Sunday night at 11:59pm.

The test will be open from 7:25am to 2:30pm on the scheduled day. If you do not take the test during that time, you will take a 0 for that test - no matter the reason/excuse.
