Hi! My name is Mrs. Jungmeyer and I will be your Government, Honors Government, or American National Politics teacher this year. This is my 25th year of teaching, all here at FOHS.
I grew up in central Missouri, near the Lake of the Ozarks, and graduated from Eldon High School in 1989. I then attended Central Missouri State University (now UCM), graduating with a degree in Political Science in 1993. After working for a couple of years at various pursuits, I attended Lincoln University to complete certification to teach Social Studies. I earned a Master's degree in Political Science from UMKC in 2001, a Master's degree in Secondary Administration from William Woods University in 2006, and an Educational Specialist degree from William Woods in 2012. I have also completed work toward a doctorate in Political Science.
I have been married for 31 years and have two grown children, both of whom graduated from Fort Osage High School and both of whom have recently gotten married, both to former students of mine! We have a wonderful Belgian Malinois, Bella, and a cat, Tac. I am a huge sports fan and I enjoy reading and crocheting in my spare time.
