Attendance: Students are expected to arrive to class on time, ready to learn. Electronics must be put away as soon as the bell rings, this includes headphones, earbuds, phones, etc. If a students is absent, it is their responsibility to check Google Classroom.
Assignment Expectations: Students are expected to turn in their assignments by the given due date in order to receive full credit. Late work will only receive 50% credit.
Late work policy: Students may turn in assignments after the due date for partial credit. Students may not turn in late assignments after the assessment for that unit.
Re-take Policy: Students may retake any quizzes up until the assessment for the unit. Students may retake a unit assessment, but it must be completed before the quarter ends or within two weeks of the test date.
Participation Points: These points can NOT be made up. If a student does not participate in class, they will lose these points.
My plan is to have work graded within one week of the due date. However, please realize there will be assignments that will take longer to grade. Late assignments may take longer to grade.
I will utilize Google Classroom and emails as my main form of communication with students and parents.
If you need additional assistance email me at jeharvey@fortosage.net.
Students, please do NOT email me and ask me to grade your late work. I will grade it as soon as I can. Typically, it takes me up to one week to grade work. Late work may take longer.
Please use proper etiquette when emailing me. I will respond within 24 hours, although most of the time it will be sooner.
If you are out for any reason, it is your responsibility to check Google Classroom. If you don't understand an assignment, you need to email me and thoroughly explain what you are having problems with.
