Physics I

Students are expected to attend class when required to do so. If they are absent it is their responsibility to seek out and complete what they missed.

Students should put their full name on any assignment they turn in. They should be turned into the tray when completed. It is expected that all work turned in is your original work.

Late work will not be accepted after the end of the unit we are currently in. Until that time, late work will be accepted for full credit. I would rather you complete what was assigned, even if late, because it was assigned for a reason.

The Fort Osage School District has a DCA retake policy which allows students to retake DCAs. They will have the ability to show their learning and mastery of a particular unit after the original test date. Please do this as soon as possible after the original DCA date.

I expect students to often be confused, unsure, and anxious about what we are doing in class. That is called learning.

If a student is 100% virtual, they will check into their virtual google classroom every day at the correct time.

If a student is virtual only certain days of the week, when that student is virtual they will check for new material on google classroom on those days they are not in school.

My plan is to have the gradebook updated weekly. This will usually occur over weekends.

If a student is failing I will be contacting a parent to inform them. Usually failing is due to a lack of effort and ownership of the material.
