My name is Dr. Heidi Dailey and I will be your math teacher this year! I have been teaching math since 2005 and teaching math at Fort Osage High School since 2006. I have two daughters that both attend Fort Osage and play ALL the sports that they can play in our not so free time.
My Education - I grew up in rural, central Missouri graduating high school from Wellsville-Middeltown R-1 in 2001. I attended Central Methodist University where I played softball and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics in 2004. From CMU, I went on to earn my Masters of Arts in Mathematics Education, Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 2005. In 2010, I decided to pursue my Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Baker University and am excited to say I AM OFFICIALLY DONE WITH SCHOOL!
Here at Fort - One of my favorite jobs here at Fort is being a sponsor of the National Honor Society. I love working with students outside of the classroom, specifically in ways that serve the community and teach students about service to others. I am also currently the District Mathematics Facilitator in which I work with K-12 math teachers to develop the curriculum you learn in your classrooms.
