• 8 single-subject spiral notebooks   or    (two 3-subject notebooks and 2 single subject notebooks)

• 8 Pocket folders

• #2 pencils OR mechanical pencils

• Highlighters (3 different light colors)

• Packet of graph paper

• 3x5 multicolored  note cards 

• Colored pencils or fine tipped markers

• Headphones 

• Journal for drawing

For 7/8th grade, we focus on planning, and responsibility for homework.  I keep everything loaded into Google Classroom so that students can always check for themselves to see what is missing.  We will also use the planners daily before leaving school to record what homework they have to work on with your initials each day.  This keeps them accountable for their own work and begins to take that responsibility off of the parents and teachers : ) 

We use a notebook for Writing Workshops (3 of them), a, Science notebook, a notebook for health and folders for all subject areas.  

Headphones are necessary as we have digital learning and optional audible textbooks as well.  

We do need one journal with blank pages for outside journaling for science.
