Four Winds Indian Trading Post
Four Winds Trading Post is the longest operating trading post as well as the oldest in Montana! A visit to their old-time store is a trip back in history. Beads, face paint, deer and moose hides, dance bells, real sinew and porcupine hair roaches (head dresses) are among the authentic goods found at Four Winds, the oldest continuously operated trading post in Montana! Located outside of St. Ignatius, MT.
Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana
The Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana reflects the spirit of the Flathead Indian Reservation and early Montana settlers with its impressive collection of artifacts, Native American beadwork, western art, photographs, and life-size dioramas of an early trading post, the St. Ignatius Mission Church, as well as an Indian camp and wildlife of the area. Collections of hunting artifacts, western horse tack and outfitting equipment also bring to life the stories of life in early Montana. Be sure to enjoy their Nature Trail!

This concrete arch-type dam stands at 205 feet high, which is higher than Niagara Falls. Walk down the 1,000 feet of wooden steps to a covered viewing area right above the falls and enjoy 360° views of the Flathead River, vertical cliffs and glimpses of Montana wildlife.
