Attendance, Participation, and Bell Schedule

Attendance, Participation, and Bell Schedule for Synchronous- South Forsyth Online Students:

The Bell Schedule is the same as face-to-face students. Each day will have a synchronous component which the teacher will specify. Attendance will be related to synchronous attendance, not work completion.

Students should follow the following recommendations:

• Get up by 8:00 am

• Have breakfast

• Get dressed

• Set up to learn outside of bedroom

• Computer/Camera on and ready to go by 8:25 am

• Able to follow day to day schedule and remain attentive and participatory

• Takes breaks and eats lunch at the prescribed time

• Concludes face to face at 3:40 pm

• Able to transition for extracurriculars before and after school

• Completes homework, gets plenty of sleep, and is ready to go for the next day

Same Bell Schedule as in the Building:

• Same Hours as Face-to-Face Students

• Day will begin at 8:30 and end at 3:30

• Students will follow bell schedule and attendance will be taken by period

The teacher is live online, Students are all Virtual Remote Learners they will NOT be in a classroom with face-to-face students
