Kelly Mill Family,
It was so great welcoming everyone back from Thanksgiving break! Our kiddos came in with such positive vibes and festive holiday spirits—you could feel the energy the minute they walked through the doors. The themed days for staff and students have been a hit and are bringing so many smiles during this wonderfully busy season.
As we jump back in, it’s hard to believe we’re already wrapping up the second quarter. How are we almost at the halfway point of the school year? Time truly flies when you’re having fun…and staying busy! We’ll be balancing all the excitement of the season while keeping our focus on academics and finishing the quarter strong.
A huge shout-out to our amazing PTO for organizing the Whimsy Daisy Holiday Boutique for our students—they absolutely loved it! And thank you for spoiling our staff with hot cocoa and canolies. We are so grateful for everything you do to make KME feel special.
We also need your help with one of our most loved KME traditions—our annual Cookie Exchange for staff. This event brings so much joy every year, but we still need more cookie donations to make it a success. If you’re able to contribute, we would be so grateful. It’s a sweet way to show our staff a little extra love during the holidays. Sign up here!
Here’s to a Merry & Bright December at Kelly Mill!
Remember to find time to rest, relax, and recharge with the people you love most!
Love,
Mrs. Moity

We need your voice! Please take a few minutes to complete the Georgia Parent Climate Survey. Your feedback helps us celebrate what’s working and identify ways we can continue to grow as a school community. Thank you for partnering with us to make KME the very best place for our kids to learn and thrive!

As we head into one of the busiest seasons at KME—with class parties and activities happening almost daily—we are expecting hundreds of visitors in the building. To help us manage the flow safely and smoothly, we will not be scheduling lunch visitors for the remainder of the semester.
We will, however, make a special exception for birthday lunch visitors. If you would like to arrange a birthday visit, please reach out to Ms. DiFranco and she will be happy to assist.
Flashers in car line should only be used for students who require specific support or when families need staff assistance (such as unloading heavy items). If you are using flashers, please pull all the way to the front cone so the appropriate staff member can meet your child.
Using flashers without a need slows the line and makes it harder for our students who truly depend on this support. Thank you for helping us keep car line safe, smooth, and student-centered!
Looking for a few good bakers to help us spoil our staff during KME’s annual Holiday Cookie Swap. Please sign up to send in homemade or store bought holiday treats, so our KME staff can bring home a delicious cookie platter to enjoy! Cookies/treats can be sent in the morning of Dec. 12th! Thank you for helping us continue this tradition!
