Curipod is an AI-powered tool that helps teachers quickly create engaging and interactive lessons, presentations, and activities. Teachers are the only ones who can create content in Curipod, and they provide students with a unique PIN to join the lesson and participate. Students should follow teacher directions for identifying themselves within the platform (limit student personal information provided). This ensures a safe and controlled learning environment where students can interact and engage without creating their own content.
Diffit
Diffit is a differentiation tool that converts any text content (article, excerpt, reading, topic) to any reading level. Then, teachers can export text, a summary, vocabulary, questions, and/or prompts to Google docs, PDF, Google Forms, or dozens of different Slides templates. *Purchased for all secondary schools for the 24/25 school year. Elementary staff have access to the premium version as a pilot for spring 2025.
Eduaide
Eduaide is an AI-powered tool that teachers may use to quickly create unique educational resources. Creating an account for free allows up to 15 generations per month. Not for use with students.
Magic School
Magic School streamlines a number of tasks performed by teachers using AI. Tools include lesson plan generator, rubric generator, question generators, professional email generators, recommendation letter generators and much more.
Microsoft Reading Progress and Reading Coach
Reading Progress is a free tool built into Microsoft Teams designed to support and track reading fluency. Reading Coach builds on Reading Progress by identifying the 5 words each individual student struggled with the most and presenting them again with tools to support the learner in practicing independently.
turnitin
Turnitin checks student work for originality when submitted through Canvas. Additionally, turnitin offers AI detection for student work submissions. It should be used a starting point for checking a student's work to see if AI was involved.
