I am a rising 9th grader, can I change my pathway?
Rising 9th grade (Freshmen) cannot change their pathway. They must commit to the pathway they have been accepted to. Students are encouraged to start a second pathway in 10th grade to further enhance your Alliance Experience and high school transcript.
Rising 10-12th graders: Can I change my pathway? Students must complete one of the AAI unique pathways.
Please keep in mind that Alliance students must complete the pathway chosen at the time of acceptance to Alliance. However, it is easy to add another pathway in the 10th grade so you have time to take the three courses required for pathway completion.
I want to take PE/Health in the summer, can I add a pathway if I do this?
We recommend that students take PE/Health during the school year for several advantageous reasons. However, if you are looking to take this course over the summer to add a pathway, please keep in mind that the number of available pathway courses are very limited, and up to 3 alternate courses will be required to replace PE/Health. You will be placed in a second pathway course where there are seats and that fits with the rest of your schedule.
** Note changes to summer courses (See link for more information)
