The Stuntman Club was formed in Term 1 of 2017. The aim was to develop key competencies such as participating and contributing and managing self within a engaging hands on learning environment.

Club Members create their own peg-man aka stuntman to take part in crazy stunts . We build an identity for our stuntmen through digital storytelling. We used iPad apps such as ChatterPix and Action Movie FX to tell their stories. Our main project was the Water Rocket. The ideas was to launch out Stuntman as high as possible using as self designed water rocket. This was a big project and we had to consider many things in our design. We started by drawing a rocket design and labels aspects that were important in a rocket. We talked about the nose cone, the fins, the fuel, the overall shape, the length, the weight and the payload ie. our stuntman. Over a period of about ten weeks we developed, tested, launched, measured and modified our rockets. Finally we relaunched our rockets with a camcorder to video the flight! See Water Rocket Cam .
