Jazz Shoes for Class

Our dance room has a class set of jazz shoes for students to borrow starting in first grade. These shoes will stay at the school and be available for each student to borrow during their designated class time. 

Why are we wearing Jazz shoes? Jazz shoes allow for flexibility to point the toes while also having traction in order to turn without slipping. They support the feet while also allowing dancers to become more aware of footwork and placement. 

*optional* If you would like to purchase your student their own pair of shoes to use during their class you may do so. Purchasing your own jazz shoes is optional- not mandatory. If students bring their own shoes, they must have their name/grade written inside of each shoe and they must stay on campus in the dance room.
