Reflection is an essential part of the 21 Day Challenge! Throughout the next 21 days, we encourage you to be thinking both about the media presented and your own experience. Plan to take time every day to reflect on the task for the day, what you’re learning, and how you feel. Though difficult, emotions such as shame and anger can guide you to deeper self-awareness about how power and privilege impact you and the people in your life. Reflection is not supposed to tear one down or excuse one's past mistakes, but rather create an opportunity for growth and a chance to do better in the future.
At Forman, we value choices and the ability to utilize a tool that works best for you and meets your needs. Check in with your advisor to reflect on the day's activity.
We will have a few in-person meeting opportunities as a way of processing the challenge. Keep an eye on your email for dates, times, and locations.
Reach out to Mr. Astudillo or Ms. Maxwell if you have any questions.
