Once summer begins to wind down, the best time of the year is near. Fall! The air becomes a bit more brisk and the leaves outside your window turn into a colorful sight. It's time to put away the swimsuits and flip flops and replace them with comfy sweatshirts and UGGs. From the weather to the activities, fall has so many things to offer!
Fall has the best weather.
Fall weather is perfect. It’s not too hot nor too cold, and unlike summer, you can step outside without feeling like you’re going to melt. The nice breeze makes it comfortable and enjoyable to be outside. It’s also time to wear your comfiest clothing, like oversized sweatshirts, sweatpants and my personal favorite, UGGs! I mean, how could you not love that? Just throwing on one sweatshirt will keep you warm rather than bundling up under many layers of clothing like you have to do in winter.
Fall has two of the best holidays.
Both of the best holidays come during fall: Halloween and Thanksgiving. Halloween is filled with candy, costumes and spooky scares, while Thanksgiving is a good time to wind down and spend quality time with family while eating delicious food. They are both exciting days I look forward to each year that make fall the best.
There are so many fun activities.
Fall brings plenty of activities to keep you busy. Pumpkin patches are a great place to go because of all of the fun activities within it. You can adventure through a corn maze, enjoy a hayride, have tasty fall treats and pick out the perfect pumpkin to carve.
Football season begins.
Whether you're a high school or college student cheering on your school or you’re rooting for your favorite NFL team every Sunday, fall marks the peak of football season. If you’re sitting in the stands or just watching from home, each game brings lots of excitement as well as delicious snacks. Not only is football fun to watch, it's a great way to spend time with family and friends.
These are just a few reasons why fall is the best season. However, it is my personal favorite because of the gorgeous weather and the endless activities that you can enjoy with friends and family.
