In 2025, several new restaurants opened their doors in Anderson Township. 7 Brew, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Crisp & Green have new locations either on Beechmont or in the Anderson Town Center.
Since their opening on December 1st, 7 Brew has quickly become well known around Anderson as many students have found jobs at their new Beechmont location. The chain has locations all around the country, starting in Rogers, AR in 2017.
Ava Baxter (10) is one of the students who has started working at 7 Brew.
“I really like working there because it’s super fun and you talk to a lot of people. Like when [customers] are waiting for their orders, you can talk to them and make conversation which is really fun. And, they focus on making the job fun for everyone,” Baxter (10) said.
Another restaurant that is new to Anderson, is Nothing Bundt Cakes, in the Anderson Town Center. The franchise was founded in 1997 by Dena Tripp and Debbie Schwetz in Las Vegas, where they made the first products from their homes.
Now, Nothing Bundt Cakes has over 600 locations, including one of their newest near AHS. Despite their recent arrival, students, such as Ella Shadix (10), have been able to try it from other nearby locations.
“I think it’s important to help support these new businesses that are coming into Anderson. And not only that, but Nothing Bundt Cakes is really delicious and I would highly recommend [it].” Shadix (10) said.
To contrast those sweet-based businesses, Crisp & Green—also located in the Anderson Town Center—is an additional alternative. The new location opened recently, but they have restaurants in sixteen states around the country. This is the only location currently in Ohio, so taking advantage of the opportunity that its proximity provides is recommended by those who have been there.
Daisy Rudd (10) ordered Crisp & Green for the first time a few weeks ago, and gave it a good review.
“I would recommend [going there], I rate the ranch wrap an 8.5/10. It’s good to try new things and [expand] your horizons” Rudd (10) said.
Whether grabbing coffee on the way to school or work, getting a healthy dinner, or running out for dessert, students and community members can support any one of these nearby restaurants.
