Compelling Visualization of Global Warming Temps over Time
Ed Hawkins, a climate scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Science at the University of Reading, devised the spiral animation to show how global average surface temperatures are increasing relative to the average temperature during preindustrial times
World GHG Flow Chart (5/2016)
This chart shows global greenhouse gases by source, sector, and gas type. Each section is connected, demonstrating which source(s) are used for each sector and produce each gas. One key point that this chart demonstrates is that one quarter of GHGs come from coal combustion (primarily used for electricity generation).

What's Really Warming the World? (6/24/2015)
Skeptics of manmade climate change offer various natural causes to explain why the Earth has warmed 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit since 1880. But can these account for the planet's rising temperature? Based on findings from NASA"s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, this chart demonstrates which variables are most responsible for warming the climate.

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (United Nations)
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the international body for assessing the science related to climate change. The IPCC was set up in 1988 by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to provide policymakers with regular assessments of the scientific basis of climate change, its impacts and future risks, and options for adaptation and mitigation.
IPCC assessments provide a scientific basis for governments at all levels to develop climate related policies, and they underlie negotiations at the UN Climate Conference – the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The assessments are policy-relevant but not policy-prescriptive: they may present projections of future climate change based on different scenarios and the risks that climate change poses and discuss the implications of response options, but they do not tell policymakers what actions to take.
Union of Concerned Scientists
The Union of Concerned Scientists is a nonprofit organization that advocates for science, performs research, and implements solutions. Much of their focuses on addressing climate change.
NYTimes: In Latin America, Forests May Rise to Challenge of Carbon Dioxide
A new study reports that recently established forests on abandoned farmland in Latin America, if allowed to grow for another 40 years, would probably be able to suck at least 31 billion tons of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.

Total Solar Irradiance (TSI): the rate at which energy from the sun reaches the top of Earth's atmosphere. Small changes to the TSI is thought to cause changes in the climate.
There currently are two hypotheses:
1. The energy from short UV rays react with the ozone and causes changes. These changes could filter into the atmosphere below it, potentially causing changes in the climate.
2. The flow of galactic cosmic rays could change which creates more ions. These ions have the potential to modify clouds, temperature, and weather.
Neither of the two above hypotheses have convincing evidence because clouds are so hard to measure.
UV radiation reacts with could, insighting weather change.
Aerosols are a subset of air pollution that refers to the small particles suspended everywhere in the atmosphere. They are referred to as "atmospheric aerosol particles" and can be both solid and liquid. However, aerosols do not stay in the atmosphere for very long
The aerosol cloud albedo affect occurs when aerosols from human origins interact wit clouds in complex ways and makes clouds brighter, reflecting sunlight back to space.
