Have a great day and see you tomorrow!

Hi Class,
I've prepared practice questions for you that go with the Review Sheet we went over in class today. You will be able to click on the buttons for each topic to view the page from the book that goes with the exercise number (scroll down the page it opens to find the exercises). I've chosen odd numbers so you will be able to check your work. Make sure you start with the topics that you circled from the review sheet we went over first!
If you want to work on additional algebra problems, take a look at this wonderful site another math teacher made. After you work out the problems you will be able to click the "Solution" button to check your work.
In addition to referring to your notes, the text, and previous slides you also have the Algebra Cheat Sheet. This quiz will be very similar to the one that you took at the beginning of the class in July. I have no doubt you will do well :)
If you have any questions, email me. We will go over any questions you have in the first part of class before the quiz.
Have a great day and see you in the morning!

Quiz corrections and bonus problems (if you didn't bring them in today)
Give the quadratic problems a try, you've learned a lot about quadratics and should be able to apply that knowledge to more practical problems. Refer to the examples in the book, slides, notes and also feel free to check out math videos on Khan Academy or YouTube.
You should also start working on the 2nd Math diary or your last project. Be ready to share ideas and plans with me on Tuesday.
Have a great day and see you tomorrow!

We discussed ideas for upcoming projects in class, your first Math Diary topic/plan is due Monday, 7/29. You will also need to have your video idea set and preliminary storyboard created.
Details, rubrics for grading, and due dates have all been updated in the course syllabus. We will set aside class time to go through any questions you have. Do NOT wait until the last minute to complete these assignments!
Inspiration to look at for video and choice projects: The world without pi, Pi Day Music Video, X-Phaze - Pi Day , The Ultimate Pi Day Video, π poster, π tshirt, modify a game (like mathopoly or Ultimate Tic Tac Toe) or create a new game, memorize more than 20 digits of π , write π poetry, write a pi story. Or instead of π, choose another number, mathematician, moment in math history, etc. The possibilities are endless!
Storyboard template, I will hand out some printed templates for you tomorrow
3D Printing: Tinkercad software to create designs, Thingiverse has customizable designs and designs you can download to print, more information about 3D printing.
Have a great day and see you tomorrow morning!
