Background & Qualifications

I am the Director of ESDA, a Christian spiritual directors association, a spiritual director, supervisor of directors, and a retreat leader. I love helping Christians recognize the ways that God is active in their lives: loving, guiding, redeeming, and healing.

I am inquisitive and tenacious about living the abundant life through contemplative practices, embracing simplicity amidst the often crazy and fast-paced world of mothering three beautiful adult daughters and loving my husband of over 30 years.

I enjoy the beauty of nature, art, film, deep belly laughter, and the love found in spending quality time with friends and family, especially playing games together. I also enjoy riding my electric bike and a good bargain hunt whenever possible.

What I believe

I stand within the broad mainstream of all Christian traditions in affirming the historic creeds of the Christian faith—beginning with the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed. I affirm a Trinitarian approach to the spiritual life and am informed by the richness and diversity of our Christian heritage.
