No, seriously.
Helping guide others to achieve their own goals and successes. That is my definition of leadership, and the philosophy that has guided me in every role I have been privileged to serve in. I am running for Senate because I believe I can truly represent every individual that makes our class of 2029 so special.
That means listening to everyone's ideas -- and that will be my highest priority if I am given the honor of representing our class. It is my job to give a voice to your ideas and fight for the priorities of our class. I look forward to hearing from as many students as possible throughout my campaign and term of office, and while the specific issues may change my platform being your platform will never change.
I have outlined some areas of focus based on preliminary discussions I have had with peers thus far, but this is far from an exhaustive platform:
Reevaluating and streamlining the Orientation program to provide a more digestible and meaningful introduction to Fordham (in partnership with OSI and Orientation leaders)
Ensuring all campus buildings are as accessible as possible and identifying areas for improvement (i.e. no ramps at Hughes Hall)
Working with RHA on dorm improvements, both minor and major (from low powered microwaves and broken shower knobs to the lack of air conditioning)
Reintroducing physical ID Cards for all students for ease of use and accessibility
Exploring the extension of dining hall hours, especially on weekends
