How to Set Up Flipboard
We will be using Flipboard in this class to share and comment on articles throughout the semester.
In order to become a contributor to the class magazine that's been set up for you you will need to first create an account, sign in, download an extension/plugin/app, and then accept the invitation. Please follow the following step-by-step directions:
Flipboard.com to sign up for an account, Make sure to use a different password than your email or other online accounts.
Download the app (iPhoneAndroid) for your phone, install the app, and then sign in to your account. This will allow you to flip articles you read on your phone into the class magazine.
Download the Chrome extension or drag this bookmark button in your browser. This will allow you to flip articles you read on your computer into the class magazine.
Before the next step sign into your account before accepting the invitation to become a collaborator to the class magazine.Once you've signed in, click on the invitation link (add link from magazine) on either your phone or browser. You will now be able to flip articles into the magazine that's been set up for your class.
Assignment
During each week, you will need to "flip" at least one articles into the Class Flipboard (add link to magazine). You will also be responsible for commenting on articles that your classmates have shared and at the end of each class we’ll spend 20 minutes discussing thoughts.
