Hi, we are the proud instructors of the Friends of Phil Rizzuto Smokey Park NY Inc. basketball team, where we teach the fundamental skills of basketball and encourage young kids our favorite part of the game - falling in love with the sport.

Our Coaching Philosophy

We believe in coaching the whole athlete. Our goal is to make sure every practice is a fun, positive, and energetic environment where kids can build confidence, stay active, and learn sportsmanship. We focus on:

• The Fundamentals First: Teaching correct form for dribbling, passing, and shooting.

• Having Fun: Using engaging, age-appropriate drills so players enjoy the learning process.

• Teamwork: Encouraging players to lift each other up and communicate on the court.
