Foothills Academy welcomes families who desire a Christ-centered, academically focused education for their children. Our admissions process is designed to ensure that each student is a strong fit for our school community and that we can effectively support their academic and spiritual growth.
1. Inquiry
Families begin by expressing interest in Foothills Academy. This provides an opportunity to learn more about our mission, curriculum, and daily operations, as well as to ask questions.
2. Application Submission
Prospective families complete and submit an application for each student, along with any required documentation, including previous school records (if applicable).
3. Family Interview & Tour
All applying families participate in an interview with school leadership. This conversation allows us to better understand the student’s needs, family expectations, and alignment with the values and mission of Foothills Academy.
4. Student Assessment (if applicable)
Depending on the grade level, students may be asked to complete an academic assessment to help determine current skill levels and ensure appropriate placement.
5. Review & Decision
The administration carefully reviews each application, along with supporting materials and interview feedback. Admission decisions are made based on available space, student readiness, and overall fit within the Foothills Academy community.
6. Enrollment & Registration
Families who are accepted will receive enrollment information, including next steps for securing their child’s placement. Enrollment is confirmed upon completion of all required forms and payment of applicable fees.
Foothills Academy maintains an enrollment interest waitlist when applications exceed available space. Placement from the waitlist is not guaranteed and is determined through the same admissions process as outlined above.
