About Me

My name is Caitlyn Murphy and I am a senior at Fontbonne Academy in Milton. I chose School Shootings as my Social Justice project because I am passionate about access to education and safety in school especially for children. As a student I have been very fortunate to feel very safe in my school communities but I know that is not the case for everyone. I have heard stories from many people I grew up with about times they have felt unsafe at school or times when there have been school shooting threats at their schools. I believe no one should have to fear for their lives while at school, so that is why I chose this project.

If you share this passion for safety within school and want to help the movement I encourage you to look into ways to use your voice for change. Use the links below to learn more!
