Take Action Now

In the summer of my junior year at Fontbonne, I obtained an internship at the non-profit organization, ASPIRE (Asian Sisters Participating in Reaching Excellence) under the ASPIRE in the Community team (AitC) in Boston, MA for almost six months. This organization promotes Asian American women and my main role included maintaining communication with all members, working with speakers from different organizations such as Refinery29, and leading the program's numerous workshops. I was then promoted to my present position which is the AitC (ASPIRE in the Community) Coordinator in 2021. My task is to co-lead for Behind the Scenes, which provides an open space for members of the Asian American community to engage with members of ASPIRE through bi-monthly events like Q&A, open forum, and other leisure conversations. Furthermore, I lead the ASPIRING TALKS series which highlights AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) speakers from various backgrounds such as finance, journalism, entertainment, social media, cooking, dance, Muay Thai, and law.
