Themes of Catholic
Social Teaching

What is Catholic Social Teaching?

It is the part of the catholic church that addresses social, economic, and ecological justice of our world!

What themes did I pick for my topic?

Theme 1 - Care for God's Creation

Care for God's Creation is a theme that helps us see the importance of the life around us. Whether it be the soil, environment, animals, or humans we all need to come together, and with plastic pollution threatening God's creations for now and into the future, we are called upon to do something about it!

Theme 2 - Call to Family, Community, and Participation

Plastic pollution is an issue that not only affects one group, but everyone in the world! This means that we need to stand together and participate and join one another in trying to make the active change which is why this is the second theme I chose.
