Themes of Catholic
Social Teaching

Solidarity

There are several themes of catholic social teaching but the most important one to mental health is Solidarity . The church states that we are all one family. We are called to love one another as brothers and sisters. It also states that the core of solidarity is justice and peace. We are called to promote peace throughout the world without judgment and insecurities. As a society we tend to have hatred grow over love. In a world filled with judgment it makes it difficult to have solidarity throughout our world. When minds are full of worries, anxieties, stress, and depression God's creation is not at peace.

What is studied and proven throughout our society is that men struggle with expressing their problems because their mental health is not stable. If our society does not grow with solidarity the problem with mental health will not improve. Not only is it the job of the church but also it is a job for God’s creations.
