I am a member of the class of 2024, and my social justice topic is book banning in the United States. I chose my topic because I grew up in a house of teachers who instilled the importance of a good book in me. When I heard about the injustice occurring within this country's school systems, I knew I had to learn more about it. I hope you take the time to enjoy my topic and be inspired to read banned books!
